I am an officially deputized worker for 20schemes!
This weekend I attended training at 20schemes’ American office in Kentucky. Not only did I become a deputized worker (I will become a formalized worker for 20schemes once I reach my fundraising goals and move to Scotland), but I was also deeply encouraged. The 20schemes staff, other prospective workers, and I prayed together frequently, talked honestly about our struggles and fears regarding the mission field, and focused our eyes on the character and promises of God. Even though the work ahead can seem daunting at times, it was refreshing to be reminded that God is our shield, our glory, and the lifter of our heads (Psalm 3:3). This is His work, and what a joy to be apart of it!
Fundraising is officially underway as of this weekend, as well. I will be seeking to raise $73,413 before August 2020. For more info about how much money I need and what this money will be used for, click here.
ways you can pray:
- That God would be my shield against the enemy’s attacks, my glory as I begin fundraising, and the lifter of my head when I am discouraged.
- That God would provide not only for my financial needs, but that He would also provide more people who are willing to serve with 20schemes.

Here is a view of 20schemes’ American office in Bardstown, KY:

Inside 20schemes’ American office there is a map of Scotland with pictures of 20schemes international workers pinned to it. There is also a map of the US with pictures of people who are preparing to serve with 20schemes in Scotland. You can see my picture pinned on West Virginia 🙂
