Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
– Philippians 2:5-11
WAYS YOU CAN PRAY:
- My foremost prayer request this week is for humility. Please do pray that I would live in the wisdom of humility as I wait and prepare to go serve/be discipled with 20schemes. How I need Him who displayed such radiant, perfect humility and obedience!
- Preparations for an October departure are rolling now! I have two big suitcases sitting in my room and the visa process has started. I praise God for this! Would you pray for me as I prepare to go? Specifically 1) that I would trust the Lord regarding the timing of the visa process (it is currently a bit back-logged because of applications sent in during Covid shutdown) and 2) that I would trust the Lord regarding the rest of my funding (being fully funded looks like about 5 more people giving $30 a month – or however the Lord chooses to provide!).
- Would you also join me in praying for 20schemes’ upcoming road-trip? They will be stopping at Minneapolis, MN and Dacula, GA at the end of this month in order to talk about what the Lord is doing in the schemes and to spread the word about how people can be involved. Let’s pray that much fruit would come of this!

PICTURE FOR THIS WEEK:
My niece made this Scottish flag picture for me yesterday. What a treasure of promises is packed into Isaiah 41:10!
“fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Knowing that the Lord is with us cuts out the ground from under all our fears.
And knowing that the Lord is with us gives us great joy in knowing that we do not face this Task Unfinished alone. In fact, this is His work, and He invites us into joining the harvest joy. Wow. Praise Him!
John 7:37-38,
Claire
P.S. Thank you, thank you to all of you who continue to pray for and support me. I am so grateful for you!
