A couple years ago, this little church plant was made up of three people…two being Chris & Katherine. Fast-forward to this week, and there are now four people serving on our church plant’s staff as, in the kind provision of God, Graham has now joined our team as a pastoral intern. The Lord has been growing, protecting, and providing for us, and it is beautiful to behold His hand of grace working to bring the Gospel to Merkinch. We are so thankful to our Lord! Please pray for Graham and his family as Graham starts a new role and as they all settle into a rental house while they look for a home in Merkinch. And please pray 1 Peter 3:8 for our wee church plant as we start to grow in number: “Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.”

We also started our weekly café last Thursday! It was encouraging to have a good number of people from the community stop by the church hall to get a bacon roll and chat with us. I was thankful for the time to get to know folks better, meet new people, and also to get to talk with them about Jesus. Please pray for our interactions with folks that we will have every Thursday. Please pray that the people in our community will know that we genuinely care about them, but, even more than that, that they will come to know and love the Lord Jesus.

“To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 1:5-6

He will hold us fast,
