This Week:

Below is a picture of a dog named Daisy…I went over to play ball with her yesterday, the main reason being to get to spend time with her owner. Our church has been getting to know Daisy’s owner over the past couple of months; would you pray that we would love this lady well?

After seeing a poster for our church at the bus stop, Daisy’s owner has been faithfully coming to our cafes and to our corporate worship on Sundays. Before she found out about our church, she had been considering moving away from the area, but now she wants to stay in Merkinch because she has been so touched by knowing that people in our church genuinely care about her and want to befriend her. Please will you pray for Daisy’s owner? Please pray that we will build friendship with her and be able to walk with her well through the difficult circumstances of her life. And that Jesus will rescue her and give her hope and life in Him!

Favorite quote this week: “We plead not ourselves, but the promises of Jesus; not our strengths but His; our weaknesses, yes, but His mercies. Our way of fighting is to hide behind Jesus who fights for us. Our hope is not the absence of our regret, or misery or doubt or lament, but the presence of Jesus” (Eswine). Amen.

Thank you for your steadfast prayers,

Claire

P.S. Below are more responses to questions… thanks, friends!
