Hi friends,
Above is a wee update, but I also wanted to write and ask for your prayers in a specific way over the next two weeks. I will be taking time off over the next couple of weeks, and I would love your prayers for that to be not only a time of rest but also that it might be an intentional time of listening to God about whether He wants me to stay here longer with 20schemes. I will have to make a decision on that in the next couple of months, so I’d love for your prayers for wisdom and patience as I seek the Lord about this. A friend of mine sent me the quote below…it really sums up the cry of my heart in this season. Would you pray along these lines for me?
“I believe that the measure of success in the kingdom of God is obedience,” John said shortly before his death. “I want my life to reflect obedience to Christ and to live in obedience to Him. I think that Jesus is worth it. He’s worth everything.” (quote from John Chau, missionary to the Sentinelese people)
Take care, friends. I am praying for you and hope you are encouraged in the faith these next couple of weeks.
Jesus is worthy,
Claire

Below: the ceiling fell down in the back part of our church building this week…thankful to have a building yet also praying for God’s direction and the resources needed to maybe do a future re-model

Below: we had a couple from Australia stay with our church family for a couple weeks as part of a seminary placement (they are on the far right). Was joy to have them! This is a picture of the majority of our church family gathered to pray for them before sending them off.
